I crafted a periodical publication concept utilizing effective narrative design. Imagery and typographic elements were integrated to develop a powerful, multi-layered hierarchical narrative system.
I crafted a periodical publication concept utilizing effective narrative design. Imagery and typographic elements were integrated to develop a powerful, multi-layered hierarchical narrative system.
I chose to create a periodical composed of a handful of my favorite sentences found in literature. The general idea and inspiration stems from my belief that truly moving sentences produce some sort of visceral reaction within us. The illustrations manifest what I envision when I stumbled across each of these sentences. On each page, the sentence is printed in the original font each book was printed in and I crafted some typographic representation of each sentence. The book concludes with a manifesto to shop for books locally.
